Flooring installation in Tulsa comes with its own set of real, practical considerations — here's what we plan around on every project.
Most Tulsa homes sit on either a concrete slab or a crawl space, and each one changes what flooring works best and how it has to be installed. We check which you have before recommending anything, so the floor matches what's under it.
A new floor is only as flat as the subfloor underneath it. Decades of settling on Oklahoma clay leave dips and humps, so we grind, patch, and level first — the unglamorous step that keeps planks from clicking and tile from cracking.
Real hardwood swells in a muggy Oklahoma summer and shrinks in a dry winter. We let it acclimate in your home before install and leave proper expansion gaps, or point you to engineered wood or LVP if your space calls for it.
Between muddy boots, big dogs, and that red Oklahoma clay, Tulsa floors take a beating. We'll recommend materials and finishes for how your household actually lives, not just what looked good in the showroom.
Every flooring project is different — here's a starting point based on scope and budget.

LVP is waterproof and very hard to scratch, which makes it great for kitchens, basements, and homes with big dogs. Hardwood has real warmth, can be refinished, and adds resale value. We'll help you pick room by room based on how the space actually gets used.
A single room usually takes a day or two. Most whole-floor projects run about 3–7 days, depending on square footage and how much subfloor prep is needed. Hardwood also needs a few days to acclimate before we start.
Sometimes, but we usually don't recommend it. Layering over old flooring can hide problems, raise the floor height against doors and cabinets, and void the new floor's warranty. We'll tell you honestly when it's fine and when it isn't.
We'll talk through it before the job starts. Many homeowners clear small items themselves and we handle the rest, but it's worth planning ahead so nothing surprises anyone on install day.
They're part of the job. We remove, replace, or add baseboards and quarter round as needed, and install clean transitions wherever the new floor meets another surface.
